Unlike Ish Johnson who had to sit out this year because he was a NQ. He wasn't able to be a part of the team. Huge difference.

This is true. Nichol will be able to join the team for the offseason stuff, summer and fall practice, and attend all of the games. Of course, he won't dress for the games but that's really the only thing he won't do.
