I don't understand why everyone is ripping on Nichol for being talked out of something by his dad. It's not like he just went at the whim of some agent or coach, I'd say a lot of teenagers could be convinced to do something by their own father. I can't blame him for not being like "**** you, dad, I'm not gonna listen to you. I'm going to MSU and you can go to hell!"
His being on the team doesn't hurt anyone (except maybe the psyche of a few posters), and can only be a positive, either from his own play or by pushing other QBs to do well. I'll be looking forward to MSU football for a long time. |
