Kate seems to have no intention of going back to the island now that she has Aaron to look after. But, I think that's where they'll all end up.
One possible way to get her to want to return is to have an investigative reporter start asking questions about Aaron. Perhaps, she then would decide to take Aaron and run.
Just a thought.....
