One of the primary knocks on Nichol is his size - probably a legit 6'2" from some reports though he is listed at 6'3" in most reports.
He has the necessary cannon for an arm and showed a very nice touch on short passes in his junior and senior campaigns.
On top of that he can run.
What is, of course, unknown is his ability to read major college defenses and make necessary adjustments. I'm not sure exactly on what factors Bradford beat Nichol out in, but if Nichol was even close to Bradford (and most accounts would say this) he will be a heckava D-I QB.
