Would anyone realy expect us to be at this point? Let's hope not (I sure don't)....but let's also keep in mind that we have a long way to go before we are where we want to be with the nation's best. Coach D must first build up the recruiting base in Michigan (check), then surrounding states (getting there), the entire midwest, and ultimately the nation. We're on the way, but we're not close yet.
Also, there is no correlation between reading ESPN & knowledge about recruiting. I'd venture to say that most all of the top recruiting gurus read ESPN as do people who could care less about college football, let alone recruiting. I think what you mean is there is a correlation between not knowing anything about recruiting and getting all of your recruiting information from ESPN, but of course this couldn't be deduced from my post, it's not what you said, and it's not true (for two reasons: 1) I follow recruiting & 2) clearly you would know something about recruiting if you read ESPN and something>nothing).

all garbage. If rivals had team rankings out right now
MSU would be in the top 15.
Scouts a rag and run by a jerk off who loves to disparage
MSU as much as possible (Tom Beaver), that's not opinion/conspiracy it's a fact.
You're still bitching about a recruiting class that very early on has commitments from 2 top 100 and 3 top 250 players and an elite QB.

is clearly recruiting at a very high-level right now. Only a moron could dismiss this
