Mathias plays high school in the Tri-Valley Conference not exactly a high school football mecca. I am from the area and have followed high school football in that area. My brother played for Saginaw Nouvel Catholic Central and played the conferences best teams every year in districts. He was on an awful team in an awful conference which = awful competition. Maybe he will be ok, but I was not that impressed when I seen him and I do not think so.
