Glenville kids are usually well coached. Their defense is always well coached. However, they've always had personnel problems. They usually have a few good linemen, but not a lot. They don't platoon linemen like a lot of division one schools do. Quite a few go both offense and defense. Additionally, Glenville often produces very "raw" athletes because of a lack of facilities. They simply don't have the means to develop these kids in the weightroom like a lot of schools can.

Considering their circumstances, Gleville has been plenty successful, especially in a division dominated by Catholic schools and suburban schools. Glenville is one of a handful of inner city football programs to be really successful.
That suprises me (the facilities being so poor) doesn't Glenville have some NFL alum willing to pony up some dough? Ted Ginn Jr? Troy Smith?
