This is my 1st post, hopefully it is insightful.

I live in the same subdivision as Vushaj's head coach, and I am good friends with his son. Also, I went to middle school with Vushaj, and have watched him 1st hand for two years now against my high school.

I was talking to him, and according to him, Vushaj wants to go to State, and will commit if offered. He also said though Vushaj isn't the smartest of kids, but that shouldn't stop him. According to him, Vushaj will qualify, Ed has been at his coach's house almost every day, being tutored. So, it sounds like grades will not be the issue.

On a playing ability note, Ed is a big dude, and he is very intense. He started the past two years for the Warriors at the Mike position. However, this past year he was used more and more at DE, and he looked like a natural rushing the passer. From my experience watching high school football at Walled Lake Central, only three players have really stood out to me, Ryan Tisdall, Kevin Long, and Ed Vushaj. The 1st two now play at Grand Valley and Eastern Michigan respectively. Ed is by far the best out of those 3, and he definetly has the potential to play at Michigan State. I believe Vushaj will blow up his senior year, and will make it to Michigan State. As it is all he ever talks about.
