There are things that make sense but the population is so mis-educated that they refuse to support them.
1) universal health care- people think "we can't afford it"....but we can and should
2) Legalize Drugs - people think it will result in selling dope to their kids at school, instead it would bring drug use to the forefront, eliminate TONS of crime and also help other nations that have criminals that thrive on our illicit drug market
I say legalize it all. Let people do it, but let employers trace it, let the DMV test you for it, etc. etc. If you can't use drugs responsibly then you'll pay the consequences.
