Actually, there is one that works. Obviously in cases where it isn't a tumor or definable medical condition.
It's the Sacro-Wedgy. $30. Saved me from lower-back surgery. Chiropractors couldn't reduce the pain. After four weeks of use, back pain went away. Rarely returns, but proper muscle exercises helps prevent, and if it does come back, I get the Sacro Wedgy out of my drawer. Works for both sitting and sleeping. And I play a lot of tennis and other sports, so a lot of twisting in my lower spine.
Works for a lot of conditions, but not everyone. Worth the chance, though, and doctors are OK with it, although they'd rather get the bucks for surgery.
