1) Purdue has more big ten basketball titles than any other program.

2) Purdue had a winning head to head record vs. Indiana during most (all?) of Bob Knight's career.

3) Purdue hasn't been to a final 4 in a few decades.

Bottom Line: Tradition is measured by Final Fours and NCAA Titles. PERIOD.
