Recruiting is a high stakes game and you don't want to let your competition know where you're at. MSU has 37 Seniors (25 4th year and 12 5th year) scheduled to graduate in 2009 ! I know not all of them are on scholarship but even if only 60% are on scholarship, that means 22 scholarships could become available for 2009. Plus MSU gained 3 scholarships from Connor Dixon and Nick Foles transferring and Abre Leggins leaving the team (one of which will go to Keith Nichol). Also 2 scholarships are in limbo (Jason Diehl and Clay Charles) because of injuries but both are Juniors in eligibility.
I think there will be some real surprises as this recruiting year unfolds !
