Really, can he play OT? What about DE? Seriously, why all this "if the kid wants to be a Spartan, we will find a spot for him" talk? Scholarship numbers are limited....if you take him, just because he wants to come, and you don't have room for him (ie. he is #86 scholarship player), you are going to have to run off another kid. Otherwise, you will lose a scholarship for a position of need by taking him.
Now, will he still have a spot? I don't know....perhaps as a LB, or S, or ATH. However, to think we are not going to turn down talented kids who don't fill our needs just because they want to come to
MSU is not realistic. We just did this with the Guard prospect Spiker from Ohio.
