That's why he didn't opt for the NFL draft last year even though he was eligible because he was considered to be a possible 7th round pick by NFL scouts. Otis Wiley led the Spartans with 4 interceptions last season but only 2 interceptions in 8 Big Ten games on a defense that had a total of only 12 interceptions in 12 games. He was 8th on the team in tackles with 49 in 12 games (avg. 4 per game). They were not impact players last year and need to step it up this season to even be considered impact players.
