Democrats Tax and Spend; Republicans Borrow and Spend. Pick your poison (though I believe tax and spend is less immoral because it doesn't push the burden on to a future generation who didn't have a vote.)
George Will said years ago that it doesn't matter which party is in charge, spending never changes. The only thing that changes is the partisan nature of the pork.
