Richardson should have gotten the nod, a likable man (outside of the Clinton Family Room), is one of the least partisan DEMS out there, had a link to the Hispanic vote, and despite his service in the Clinton Administration would have maintained an outsiders view because of his roll as NM governor.
His name was quiet the last couple of days, I thought he was a shoo-in.
