We already know McCain's daddy forbid the USS Liberty Naval investigation team from going to Israel to interview anybody(in spite of their requests to do so), and wanted this kangaroo court to convene within 10 days of the incident, in spite of being told a proper investigation could take perhaps 6 months, by counsel.

Admiral Staring, the reviewing officer of the court, wouldnt even sign off on its findings.

Johnny boy, aside from ignoring the USS Liberty murders, while asked as a Senator and former sailor to look into them, by survivors...didnt fall far from the tree.
