The talk about Dantonio, who proclaimed himself a "midwestern guy" when this very topic came up, is just as dumb because: A) SC is not a step up, & B) Dantonio's coaching roots/contacts are in MI/OH. At worst I could see Dantonio using a SC offer to get a raise, but don't see him leaving.  |
Spurrier may have not done much at South Carolina but he did do a lot at an SEC school with a lot of similarities to Tennessee...
