You can't recruit big time talents if you aren't prepared to lose them. Part of the reason our program has been so successful is that, like in chess, TI is able to prepare for multiple recruiting scenarios based on differing outcomes. I mentioned this in the other thread- I guarantee that TI recruited Strickland, Roe, and Wilson with the full understanding that he was probably going to strike out with each of them. I am sure it still stings though that 95% of the effort spent on the recruiting trail is all for naught.
