Bam. While Kate and Jon are certainly at fault, don't think that TLC did not have a hand in creating this monster. In the end they are reaping the reward of the family falling apart.
And for everyone who says "stupid people need to quit the show" try raising all those kids with no income, or even whatever Jon was making as a computer programmer. Imagine the food bills alone
