In a way- they were better singers, this guy's had more feeling behind it, I thought. As far as pitch, I didn't notice any issues at all, granted my speakers don't get very loud. Off the subject here, but I did think Adam Lambert's pitch was all over the place pretty frequently. I'd rather listen to a simple voice like this nine times out of ten over a truly great singer that constantly feels the need to show it. Different strokes.
EDIT: Is a farmer ever really employed? What constitutes an unemployed farmer?
