That's a lot of question marks on a team that needs a big hitter. All I'm saying is we can't hope everyone pans out, without having a little cushion.
Our program isn't at a point to turn down top talent...yet.

Spencer could become a great WR, but many feel that he isn't as good as most 4 star receivers he was ranked with. I hope they are wrong, but many people see him as more of a possession receiver. Also, he'll likely stay at WR. If he has good speed he could become a very good playmaker at WR.
I agree with this statemtent. Grades weren't the issue with CJO, otherwise PSU wouldn't have accepted his commitment. We still need to upgrade the talent level of this team to compete evey year for the big ten championship.

Lastly, for this "Dyjuan Lewis is an athletic God" talk (that, of course, would be the same if he was a 5.6rr on Rivals and not a 5.8rr, I am sure), has anyone noticed these last three schools that he has? Kentucky, Cincy, and Purdue? Not exactly the powerhouses of CFB. Weird that this can't miss prospect doesn't have a more impressive list of finalists.

Did Coach D tell you
MSU was done at WR in this class? Just wondering why Torian Richardson is visiting for the PSU game. Also, did you read my posts? I stated that both Mumphery and Lippett could become great players at
MSU.
When has a players final schools been indicative of a players ability? Every year top prospects select schools that are from national powers. Cinci is a top five team right now, UK has a teammate from Lewis' hs on the team and Purdue is his home state school.

Did coach D tell you that he pulled his ship or did he have a top three that didn't include
MSU? I don't understand why some
MSU fans are content with winning 8-9 games a year.
MSU needs to continue to bring in top talent in order to be able to compete for the big ten championship on a consistent basis. Top recruiting classes correlate with the top teams in the country, the talent is needed to win big games. We have one of the best coaching staffs in the country and we need to continue to bring in great players. I'm not saying that all of our current commits won't be great, but I don't agree with dropping someones scholarship that could be an upgrade and improve the team like CJO. The back and forth is pointless, we have differing views which is fine.
