But you don't burn a year for guys, just to seperate the class (unless you are Saban or Bobby).

im guessing it will be similar to 07, and will probably look to take 2.?

DT will be an area of need as well for this class if we dont pick one more up in 08

Football tOfficial 2009 Spartan Football Recruiting Thread

I was going to start it later(after the 08 signing day), but some news has popped up for 09 that has been discussed in the 08 thread. I felt it needed to be put in here.

Andrew Maxwell, Midland, #1/#2 QB in Michigan is rumored to either A) has given a silent verbal to MSU or B) will be giving a silent verbal to MSU in the near future.

Chris Norman of Detroit Ren. could be the top LB in Michigan and MSU has offered earlier this school year.

Larry Caper is one of two top running backs in the state. MSU is VERY high on him and he is high on MSU.

Dude, you're everywhere. Do you work?

Starting the next 200+ page thread will be one of your crowning achievements....won't it. You're awesome.

I'm very much hoping that for the 2009 recruiting class, we won't have one 6000+ post thread.

yes there has. MD said himself that after he played they saw the shoulder was not ready. He said Foles would apply for a medical redshirt but that it may not be granted right away.

Way to speak as if you were all-knowing, the red shirt will probably be focused around his shoulder but from what I understand it would only be confirmed before his 5th year.

I think Rivals came out with the new 09 Top 100. Here are the recruits interested in MSU:

#11 William Campbell (MI) DT (How legit is Campbell's interest in MSU? He's already a Michigan verbal but apparently he was here this weekend or last weekend)
#26 Marcus Hall (OH) OL
#29 Dion Sims (MI) WR
#45 Leon HIll (IL) OL
#48 Darrell Mason (OH) ATH
#52 Tate Forcier (CA) QB
#64 Larry Caper (MI) RB

He was at MSU watching a MSU vs MICHIGAN game but It still gives me a little hope that he was there. He committed before Lloyd quit so you never know but sounds like he has always been a scUM fan

I think you can take all but Sims and Caper off that list for people we have a legit shot at but that is just a guess based on what I've read on recruiting planet
