Doesn't take a math wiz to figure that one out. Simply had to read or watch the Da Vinci Code. Rumor is that got a little pit of pub in the last few years.

What are we doing over in the mid-Atlantic states? Shouldn't we be in Florida and Texas? There were the Jude bros., this QB, DT... There's obviously a reason we're over there- someone knowing someone, or something? Seriously, pipelines are good, you know? But, the number of D1 recruits over that way is comparatively small. Anybody know if there is a story to that?

Recruiting is about contacts. This staff seems to have more contacts there than they do in Florida. I assume they will still try Florida, as they did with Rhonne Sanderson and Yourhighness Morgan (seems that Warner has contacts there) but you ask people you know for advice and when those people are in the mid-atlantic, then guess what, you recruit the mid-atlantic.

I get it, you take it where you can. Still, I'd like to know more about who knows whom and 's strategies and targets for future pipelines. It'll be interesting to see how we shape up in OH. Do we watch OSU fill up and then begin expecting kids to commit? Will OH kids begin coming here based on their relationships with other OH kids (probably already occurs somewhat)? Which schools become the strongest option 'B's out of OH, , UM, Cincinnati...!? I surely hope it is us.
We did have some things going on in FL last year. It'll be interesting to see how that develops.

For all the bitching people do about SpartanMag, this is one nice thing that they offer. The longer you're a member, the longer you realize that they give a lot of incite as to small things like this. If you're really curious, you can head over there, they know this stuff a lot better than any other media outlet.

That's good to know, you actually do get insightful information. Really, I've resisted going over there because I want to spend less time on sports, not more. It's kind of like candy for the mind and I want to get back to more 'health food'.

Not that I'm at all worried about UM getting teric jones (I simply don't think he is a great get), but momentum means alot. So another commit in the next few days would be nice.

your wrong, Teric Jones is gonna shine in RR's system, he wouldn't shine here.
Its a really good get for DickRod

And if he can bring himself to approve of what's happening, he becomes "groovy." And after that, with much luck and perseverence, he can rise to the rank of "cool."

You don't even know where they offered him yet, or anything about him other than how fast he is.
Either way, youre totally looking at the wrong part of the story.

It's a really EASY get for DickRod . . . former scum RB - Thomas Wilcher has done everything he can to create an overtly pro scum atmosphere at Cass Tech and has helped "guide" players to aa. This offer by DickRod (at this time) was more about trying to leverage Willim Campbell to ignore the USC overtures that are rising up rather than fending off other suiters for Teric.

None of this is about Gordon. Take this to the recruiting thread.

You mean dick-rods defensive system right? seeing as how the kid will be playing corner in college.
he's a borderline prospect.

Momentum is not on our side right now, given UM's recent commitments from Turner, Jones, and now Isaiah Bell.

I see Bell chose UM over UC and BGSU. Nice.
We have the best momentum this year than any previous year I can think of. UM is going to get commits. I expect a slow down prior to camps.

I gotta say, Big M is more in the know, but the Bell commitment came out of nowhere in my opinion.

GoBlue, no offense but I think you guys reached a little on Bell. He is already up to 215 and ran a 4.5 at 200. He isn't a blazer but has decent speed. Not a big time hitter but doesn't shy away from contact.
His film isn't overly impressive. It is good but not what I would expect from that type of early offer. Would have figured you would offer at camp but surprised this came out of nowhere.
I think he winds up to big for safety and winds up at linebacker.
If you haven't seen the film it is on scoutingohio.

I want to see Dantonio keep his good name so what is the difference between the "Gentleman's Agreement" and this?
