Only took 20 in the 2008 class and then all the transfers (Henton Schenhoft, James Scott, and a couple other players who'd never see any playing) there is room for about 28 or 29 in this class.

It'll be very interesting to see what happens with him. He's hardly a Big Ten prospect to begin with, and the only reason he got a schollie was to make big Will happy.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if Dick Rod "reevaluates" his offer.

hardly a big ten prospect??
Listen, he has UM on him, but the kid has talent and he can play for at least half the teams in the big ten. MSU would be on him if not for Baker and Caper

he's right, teric jones IS hardly a big ten prospect. The kid couldn't start until this year and only rushed for 288 yards last year (official stats from maxpreps.com) before uofm offered, the kid didn't even have an EMU offer. He was offered entirely to try and keep campbell on-board and it failed.
I'm sure the kids having a good year running behind campbell and he's a decent H.S. player but I've seen atleast 50 h.s. athletes who where better then he was and had grades but didn't even get div II offers.
I'm pretty sure had msu not landed bake and or cape hersey jackson and several others would've gotten looks long before teric.

alright, so what is the latest thought on how MSU finishes off this class? Looks like they may be trying to get another Safety.

why don't you tell the whole story..............he only rushed for 288 yards last year b/c he was stuck behind a BCS caliber back who I think went to Indiana. Hence the reason his yards were low.
As for the offers, he did commit early you know, and that drives offers away. For example, Treadwell only has an MSU offer, is that b/c he isn't Big Ten caliber?
Hersey Jackson is your replacement, well by your logic, he only has 1 BCS offer and that is Cinci, so Teric must be better with a UM offer

he was behind a kid who wound up going to IU to play defensive back.
Teric Jones is NOT a bcs caliber Runningback. I doubt he plays very much at all at michigan but if he plays any position it'll likely be DB
Treadwells dad's a friggin coach at msu, how the hell's another bcs coach going to get into his living room completely different story.
Hersey has a cinnci offer ALONG with several mac offers (cmu, emu, ball state, wmu etc)
teric didn't even have an eastern offer.

I'm not saying he sucks, he's a decent h.s. player but a 3 star top 40 running back please
i'm suppose to cut the kid slack because he sat behind a kid last year who wound up playing DB for IU
UofM offered him entirely to try and keep Will Campbell, and it failed
if big will commits somewhere else watch how fast dick-rod pulls his offer. just look at how many other rb's rich-rods recruited since terics commited.

You've been carrying this bull**** on for months you have absolutely no interest in rational arguments... especially if they disagree with what you say. You're an MSU fan schtick. There is no other rational reason why someone could act like such a ****ing biased idiot.

well, numerous BCS coaches including Texas and Florida have found a way to get into Jeremy Jackson's "living room" to offer him already. And he is only a junior. Also, his "dad's a friggin coach" at UM. If the coaches want to offer a kid, they will. However, early commitments ala Treadwell and Teric Jones DO keep some schools from offering kids.

First off, since you have "insiders" in every major HS football program around the nation and know exactly what goes on inside Schembachler Hall-- I am "suprised" at your lack of knowledge on this subject.
Teric was recruited as a TB / slot = 3 positions in which he could make it on the field.
"Dick Rod" has commits from 4 TB / slots in Teric Jones' class: Teric, J Gallon (who will primarilly be a slot), F Tossuaint (who will primarilly be a TB), and V Smith (a combo most likely).
And anyone familiar with your posts, remembers that you feel pretty strongly from your "sources" that both J Gallon and F Tossuaint will not be academically elgible... so IF your "sources" are right, that would leave just Teric Jones and the 5'6'' Vincent Smith.
The facts are Teric Jones possesses the speed, quickness, and versitlity that make him very attractive for a coach utilizing a spread offense. MSU would not want Teric. Just like the new-UM would not want Caper. That doesn't mean Teric and Caper aren't both great athletes who should contribute at some point for UM and MSU respectively. Your obsession with Teric is quite comical. Can't wait to hear you start trashing T Gordon in a few weeks.....
Also, who was at the UM game today with Teric ????????? (I know you already know). Maybe all is not lost just yet......
