To be honest I tend to agree. I think both are overrated on message boards. Watching Gardner throw is nothing special, the reason people like him is his mobility. Bolden has all the tools but his awful Junior year makes you wonder.

Actually the switch to WR was not made up by Dorsey.

Bolden Sr. mentioned that Gardner caught more balls than he threw during an unofficial UM visit with Bolden present. I believe that is where a lot of it started.

And this was disputed by every recruiting analyst present at the same camp/visit. I think Bolden Sr. might not be the most impartial commentator on 2010 Michigan quarterbacks.

Gardner was not going to come in a compete with Nichol, Cousins, and Maxwell. Now he just has to complete with a 6'0" 185 freshman in Forcier.

yep. Michigan State's depth chart is the only thing that kept Gardner (who sucks, btw) from committing there. RR picking up 's unwanted, scared leftovers.

Well, he is an in-state four star. According to UM all the four star guys MSU got sucked last year so he's probably overrated too.

Anybody who thinks Barrent, Norman, or Baker suck is a fool. I don't think most U-M fans, at least semi-rational ones, would argue that. Michigan would have loved to have gotten any of those three players.

Most MSU fans weren't waving the flag that WC was the 15th player in the state, but UM fans won't let that one die. Barrent wasn't an instate player but that's not the point here. In the time I've wasted online I think Norman and Sims were the only guys who I don't remember being dumped on, and UM didn't need Sims cause they were set at TE.

I have read countless times that UM fans think MSU 4-stars are overrated. Like they know more than rivals.

Quit crying ilikemichigan. Gardner seems like a fine prospect. Anyone that does not think QB for MSU in 2010 is not a luxury does not know what they are talking about.

Yes, it does. I wish everyone, not just you, would realize that message boards are not places to get unbiased, rational analysis. People should not make generalizations about an entire school's fanbase based on message boards.

There, that's off my chest. I feel better.

Actually it was disputed by um recruiting analysts only. Of course these are the same slappies who said that Jeremy Jackson did not run at the army combine as a junior . . . despite Dorsey's claim that he personally saw and timed Jackson (with a faster 5.1 40 time then the official 5.23 time) . . . gee who was proven to be wrong????? Go ahead and trust in the um analysts if you want.

I consider Allen Trieu to be pretty objective in his reporting and he said the same exact thing. If you don't want to believe him that's fine.

Hemholdt, Beaver, and Webb are full of ****. That much we can agree on.

Here's another dual threat QB who might be coming to camp this summer. He mentions MSU in his most recent update.

OSU was set on the Oline and since Barrent isn't 5'8 155lbs he didn't fit the dickrod system. Enjoy the continued callahanization of your program wolvie.

Williamson was expected though.

This is a surprise commitment that wasn't.
