This is video from Andrew's freshman year - 4th quarter just over a minute to play against the arch rival - 65 yard TD to win the game - keep in mind - he was 14 years old in 2005.

That is very impressive. Maxwell was standing on his own 26 when he let that ball go and the receiver caught it on the defense's 25. A 49 yard pass in the air that hits the receiver in stride is a helluva throw for a freshman. I wonder how much his arm strength has improved since then?

Yes he has been offered. Not sure why it's not in the thread title.

I didnt realize this until now, but I was at that game. My ex-gf's parents work in the Midland school district and went to this game that year. I remember leaving and then hearing a huge uproar from the crowd when we were almost to our car. Man, that seems like an eternity ago.
Anyway, great arm.

the thing that impressed me as much as the arm strength is the accuracy of the throw. He hit that receiver IN STRIDE!

Anyone know if Andrew Maxwell plays other sports along with FB? Baseball, Baskeball?

He played basketball and baseball his first two years...He did not play basketball this year and I'm not sure if he will go out for baseball this year either.

I'd suspect so looking at the people who are going to be in attendance.
