This start is unreal, we could be watching the building of something that we have always dreamed of for MSU.

I'm just gonna be happy that we've gotten some pretty impressive verbals so far.
This is unprecedented for us.

Any idea why he is listed as a soft verbal in his Rivals profile?

Spartans get commit from top in-state QB $
Quote:
Maxwell threw unofficially for 1,831 yards while completing 54% of his passes as a junior and is ranked the 14th best player and one of top two quarterbacks in the state by Scout.com's Allen Trieu.

"I read that online, it said silent verbal, and I didn't know if that meant like smoke signals or morse code. I didn't really know what it meant, so that was just a rumor." - Andrew Maxwell
So (Unless SpartanMag was just assuming he commited, which I don't believe) then we still have a silent or two out there.

If this is true it's really amazing.
Regardless, it's already really amazing.
 Getting it done.

My take on silent verbals is that they are like strong leans, which is still very good news. Until they make it public it isn't a commit in my mind.

As has been discussed previously, this kind of start to recruiting has a tendency to snowball
This is huge and I hope it's putting to rest the notion that Coach D can't recruit well

Out of curiosity, who else had offered him? Neither scout or rivals is showing anything.
