I don't know why this guy doesn't get more love on here. He is a better prospect than Spencer and is tenacious on defense. He will be ranked higher than Spencer on rivals too. Too bad he only wants to play WR in college as his future is on defense. Still a very good WR anyways.

Josh H ranks him ahead of James Jackson and Spencer as prospects.

This kid sounds like Top 10 in-state talent. I didn't know much about him until just now. He's got me excited. 6'2" WR? We make stars out of kids like this at Michigan State. Everybody knows you go to MSU if you want to be a star at WR.

In the next 2 years we lose 5 WR's (4 in 2008, 1 in 2009), not counting Devin Thomas (early NFL) and T. J. Williams (dismissed from team). Gordon wants to play WR in college and would be a good one but some feel he has even more upside as a Safety.

he does have a spartan offer and I am sure he has more. Rivals and Scout offer lists online are usually not very accurate.

According to GoSpartans.Net, Dantonio offered Gordon a scholarship @ Junior Day on Feb. 23rd. So far MSU's is the only offer he has received.

I posted this over on Rivals, but my buddy just informed me that Sports Inferno was talking about Gordon being a hard lean and possibly a surprise verbal this week.....that would be huge, kid uses his body really well from the one video I saw. And that was against St. Mary's. Anybody heard more or something else?

Need to get this guy in the green and white...sounds like the kid is a flat out athlete...you never know...if MD lands him, he could talk him into playing D.

Everyone is telling the kid his future is in the secondary, but he's come out publicly and said he wants to stay on the offensive side of the ball.
