The QB class is pretty deep with Maxwell, Schaaf, Grimes, and Blackport.

Do you think MSU only takes one QB?

At this point, I can only see them taking one. I'd think that they would stand pat with Maxwell if he pulls the trigger.

I hope no1 treats this kid bad because of his brother. If he can play and is a good kid I want him in green and white.

Because they didn't take one this year perhaps 2 but only if they are quality players unlike just getting a QB to get one like Cousins was last year. I think Maxwell and Nichol would be a nice class if we can get them.

I'm always wary about taking 2 QBs in one class unless there is a need. I'm fine with having 3 scholarship QBs on the roster at one time.

did his brother get a RS at Oklahoma this year. if so, keith could still very possibly be a two year starter at oklahoma

He would make a better free safety than QB in college. He plays both ways for Lowell and I think he has more potential on defense.

No, Keith played in the first game of the season vs. N. Texas and the third game of the season vs. Utah State. I dont think he can use a red shirt for this past season.

The chances of the Nichols even getting a call from MSU is 0%.

he had a 'devastating' thumb injury during that 3rd game which kept him out of action

He could get a medical.
The QB who played this year was a RS freshman, so unless he suddenly gets mediocre or they recruit the second coming, he's got three years to start. If he does, that leaves a 1 yr. window for Nichol IF he gets a medical or is RS'd for a season. OU also got a hotshot QB in this class who could leapfrog Nichol if he lives up to his billing.

I dont think that MD is one to burn his bridges. To close the door b/c of one bad incident would be foolish. If the brother can play and is interested in MSU then the door should be wide open for him.

MD bailed on his team at Cincy just like Keith bailed on MSU. To hold it against the Nichols would be hypocritical.

Cousins is a decent QB so picking on the guy at this point is wasting your breath.

Obviously, people are going to have more first-hand information that I am. I'm not claiming to know how valid of a Div-1 talent he is. Just throwing the names of kids that I've heard of out there.
