Which freshman will get PT next year?
Playing time...

Johnny Adams

Charles Burrell

Steve Gardiner

Tyler Hoover

Keshawn Martin

David Rolf

Brynden Trawick
Starters...

Fred Smith

Jamirh Williams
Note sure about Fred Smith, but I'll throw him in there anyway. I think everyone else redshirts.

Smith will definitely play thats why he came here for early PT
also Worthy is going to see some snaps the same way Oren Wilson did last year. Other then that I agree with your list.

Agree. I think Worthy will get some action - just like Wilson.
Smith
Worthy
Hoover
Martin
Winston
Gardiner
Rolf
Williams
Adams
Thats a lot of freshmen contributors if you ask me.
Last years class already has some solid contributors...Bates, Dell, Wilson, Jerimiah, Jones, Rucker, etc. I expect Leggett, Anderson, Foreman, Wheat, BJ Cunningham, Jordan, Celek, Duran to get a lot of action as well. Plus, Foles or Cousins will see the field.
In two short years, MD has will have 20+ of his recruits playing within the two deeps with likely greater results than JLS and BW had.

Yes
Johnny Adams- Definitely cracks 2 deeps, may start some games like Rucker (and early enrollee), will compete with White to return kicks
Tyler Hoover- Early Enrollee, has the size to play right away and both DE starters are gone
Brynden Trawick- Special Teams at least, safety PT possible
Fred Smith- I guaransheed it. In 2 deeps with Dell, Cunningham, and Curry.
Charles Burrell- QB gimmick? or possibly safety
Jerel Worthy- spot PT, but could be sitting behind all of the following (Kershaw, Michael Jordan, Jeremiah, and Wilson)
Maybe
Keshawn Martin- needs to switch positions, i'm thinking a probably not (i would compare him to Steve Breaston, also a converted QB who redshirted at scum)
Chris McDonald- First he has to find a position
Ray and Winston- Ringer, Jimmerson, Anderson, and Leggett are there, Winston has a better shot at playing as he is more of a pounding back
Gardiner, Rolf, Williams- At least 1 redshirts, moving inside may mean immediate PT
ironically 3 of Williams HS teammates committed to Michigan on signing day
Trenton Robinson- Special teams only next year
No
Myles White- Needs more size (only possibility is as a returner, because of his ridiculous speed)
Cameron Jude- Late offer, DE just became a pretty crowded position
Deyo, Hueter, Ruhland, Woods- None of these OL have the talent to just start away, so at least 3 out of 4 will redshirt as they will be wasting eligbility
Drew Stevens- See Myles White

I suspect Ray will be red-shirted.

MJ-he is currently working at TE in workouts and according to Mark Dell is the best blocker they have, has pretty good hands and his routes are getting better so I see him there next year.
Drew- D said at the signing day thing that he could play a number of positions including Fullback and runningback so a definite red shirt next year but it will be very very interesting to see if he stays on the defensive side or becomes a back.

Yeah I saw that. Is he really 6'4 then? I've never seen a running back that tall. (I expect to be proven wrong on this one). Apparently Eric Dickerson was 6'3. But, if Stevens is 6'4 why not try him as WR or TE?

i could see Johnny Adams getting in the mix right away if any of the other DBs disappoint. it hasn't exactly been the most stalwart unit in recent history.
