Dantonio is taking another gamble and I love it

Dantonio said he wanted 25 players in this class, he got 19. Seems to me like he missed out on 6 players, but the difference between MD and coaches of the era of mediocracy is that he didn't go out and find another DE to fill Nick Perry's spot, or grab up another RB for Ingram's spot. Dantonio is trying to build this entire team out of players he can rely on, and only players he can rely on. JLS would have filled those 6 spots with worse players, but Dantonio is going to wait until Michigan State is successful enough to get them to fill spots with star players. If he can't pull it off, then Michigan State becomes a vastly undermanned team, if he pulls it off though, then there aren't the lockerroom cancers, or the chokers that we have become so used to because of the age of mediocracy coaches.

So you think Dantonio couldn't have filled the class out with MAC recruits?

You people are not only arrogant, you're pretty dumb too!

rare form, of course UM fans are often at their cockiest when talking about paper talent. Then comes the first 3 weeks of the season (or 3 hours this yr) and your NC hopes are deader than your sex life. Are you gonna hang around for July Madness this yr for your bball program?

I still think to this day you never read or don't read with an ounce of intelligence, what people post before you comment.

Number one it was sarcasm, thus the smilie that was used.

Number two if you were trying to be serious and bash UM's class, I would gladly take the UM program, history, and recruiting classes each and every time.

Me too, but I also wouldn't rack up tens of thousands of posts telling my rivals about it like the M fans on this board. July Madness...Catch it!!

Dont I remember MD saying that he would take Juco's if the need arises, and they fit the need? I am not sure that this recruiting class is totally done, he may well add a couple more players.

So were they backdated to last year? Above I see nicho said they were not as none were available. Is this true?
