OSU and Michigan recruiting thought
how does michigan get 7 players from OH and yet OSU gets no one from michigan? do players in ohio think it's cooler to go to michigan than michigan players thinking it's cool to go to OSU?

Ohio is a better football state. They have more talent coming out of there.

OSU gets the players they want. They dont look at states. They look at the country. They invaded Florida this year and beat out the big boys for them.

yep. Gonna be hard for ANYONE in the B10 to compete with OSU and the Brew Crew for the next 4-5 years. When OSU gets Pryor it is just going to take them to another level.

The last time I checked there were 41 3 star players in Ohio and 21 in Michigan. And those 21 are being pursued by two major instate schools, not just one like in Ohio.

What he said. My guess was that the state of Ohio has 3 times the number of players that Michigan does. (Three huge metro areas..Cinci, Columbus Cleveland, and fertile smaller metros such as Akron, Youngstown and Toledo)
I have always felt that if OSU could put a fence around it's state every year in recruiting, they would be a national top ten team every year. Problem is a lot of these players are leaving for the pros early.

Fair enough. I'll take leftovers like Jeremiah, Jones, and Rucker any day.
Still no idea what this has to do with Minnesota, though...
