with offers like that I find it hard for a kid from Maryland to even consider MSU with any real thought unless he has family ties here that I don't know about
This kid doesn't look like he is coming here

The square is seldom if ever cool ... He is "not with it", that is, he doesn't know "whats happening." But if he manages to figure it out, he moves up a notch to "hip." And if he can bring himself to approve of what's happening, he becomes "groovy." And after that, with much luck and perseverence, he can rise to the rank of "cool."

I'm not an expert, but isn't a 4.6 40 time really good for a defensive end? (Even thought it's probably inflated a little)

I think we have a chance with him, it's not too far.
After all, the kid lives in MD and goes to high school in New Jersey, right? That's a heckuva commute right there.

Rivals - Offers Continue for LaLota $
Up to 14 offers.Ark, Pitt, UConn the latest.
The bad thing about having a dude that has so many schools in on him is that there are so many freaking updates from every school.

It would be a miracle if we get this kid. Being from the East Coast and competing with the types of schools in this fight, I definitely think we are EXTREME underdogs.
