Stokes transferred from Penn Charter to Northeast High School for his junior season.
As a sophomore at Penn Charter he caught 10 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns. He also made 30 tackles, intercepted four passes and returned a punt for a score.
Stokes broke two school records at Northeast this season, one for most receiving yardage in one game with 177 yards and the other being the all-time single season receiving record.
He runs a 10.8 100-meter, a 22.6 200-meter and a 14.1 110-meter hurdles.

I don't remember many players coming to MSU from the Philly area in the past. Is this an area that  and staff are targeting?

I don't recall too many players from Philly, but MSU, in the past has been able to get players from Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Cant remember. But the kid was the MVP at Rutgers first junior day which had 200 prospects there and i just saw on the side of his profile that we offered him a scholly on Scout

The good thing for us is he is pretty open and is really liking the schools that got in on him early.
He certainly likes us and isn't a lock to anyone. I would figure it would be tough to get him but he plans on visiting in the summer for a camp.

Up to 20 offers. Latest from Wisky, WVU, Syracuse, OU. Planning on visiting schools that offered him early in April. For reference, he had reported 8 offers before MSU offered him.

Well, unless it's a kid that commits to UofM I'd suspect that no one will bother posting in it. I locked the two UofM commit threads, but doubt that I'd have to lock this one.
