There is nothing wrong with a 5'10" CB, most teams have them, it matters whether they can read defenses, cover and have speed.
6'1 CB's don't grow on trees, if they do and have 4.4 speed and good skills, they end up at USC.

The conversations that break out in threads that are supposed to be about information about specific kids always amazes me. I blame tRCMB.

Has anybody asked this kid recently what his thoughts are on the 2009 MSU recruiting class? It would be interesting to hear his take on the excellent start for MSU and if its making him re-think his decision.

What makes you think if he had seconds thoughts that would automatically mean MSU? What if Pete Carroll or someone else comes calling?

watched a video of him on scout. MSU didn't seem to faze him too much. He said that if he did happen to change commitments, that he would go to Miami over MSU. People need to stop getting their hopes up with this one, hes just one of those guys that isn't in love with MSU, no biggie.

You guys do realize that Cass Tech's football coach is former UM player Thomas Wilcher right? Dantonio has made tremendous progress in Detroit, but that is one nut that will be tough to crack. Tech usually is loaded with prospects as well. Unfortunately, they are steered toward UM once they get there............

Well my name isn't pete and I don't drink whiskey
Secondly, "Big Will" is going to be awefully lonely at UofM with no one in his class from the DET area. I think he'll find State more accomodating. . .

I think you guys may need to temper your enthusiasm a tad. Especially considering that there has never been any positive word about Campbell and MSU. I think we can stop all the baiting of UofM fans too.

Awwwwwwwwww! You're taking the fun out of it!
JK, in all honesty I'm not worried about not getting Campbell, if something changes I'd be estatic, but knows how to get it done on the Defensive front

for some reason I don't really think he cares much about that if he also has interest in checking out Georgia, the U, and USC....

I would consider it a recruiting win if he chooses another school over our little friends....because I think it's pretty obvious he has no interest in MSU. With that said I still think that it is good Dantonio offered him. Even though there are big obstacles in some Detroit schools for us, Dantonio still needs to go after them. At least we can make life difficult for Michigan down there.
