None of us know nearly enough about any of them to say. With that said, I'll take Baker/Ingram first.

His name is Caper ....and Ingram is heading into the best situation right now. Notre Dame's OL has tons of holes and doesn't know how to block yet. Not going to know what kind of situation Baker is getting into until after we see the team play this fall and what we pick up in recruiting.

Not sure. I guess Caper (although I'm starting to feel Baker more). Definitely not Gray IMO.

95% chance the answer to this question is whoever's team has the best OL.

Thanks for the perspective. You should be on ESPN's staff Randolph. Obviously...you get it!

You do know that this is the recruiting forum.
I thought Trevor set up 'The Duff' to avoid issues such as this one.

This is ridiculous everyone knows that the best college running back is the one that runs behind the MSU offensive line with the Dantonio power gap scheme.

Honestly. . .yes
ND is a cesspool of football idiocy and inefficiency, James Aldridge the former #2 rated back in the country could only run for 480 yards (3.8/carry) behind that OL and they lose their best players in Sullivan and Carlson.
Alabama has so many damn backs that it'll be a wonder if Ingram sees the field as an RB.
Baker steps into the best situation so thereofre has the best chance of being the best back out of that group.

I honestly would have said Baker before his commitment. His videos are nuts.
But who knows?

I feel the same way. The first time I saw Baker's film and comared it to Caper's, I thought Baker was the better back of the two (and this is well before Baker committed). Caper and Jonas Gray seem very comparable in terms of measureables, but I just don't see Gray having any success at ND. I mean, could you pick a worse place to play as a RB? Caper will end up going somewhere and I think he is also going to be a fantastic back.
Baker just looks absolutely special to me. I have a good feeling that he is probably going to be MSU's biggest recruit since Charles Rogers.

We're not sure how good our OL will be.

I'm honestly not worried about our OL, that year Nitchman, Moss and Cironi will all be Seniors, there will be a host of RS Soph/RS Juniors to contribute as well.
We have the most stable program, who knows when St. Nick will leave Alabama.

I can't say that I totally agree with the optimism about the line given that we'll be losing Martin and Miller. I can only hope that their replacements are decent.

Won't Bacon be gone as well? He should get some PT next year. Hopefully we can create a new NCAA category for Diehl to get him an 8th year Medical RS.

If Deihl and Ray can come back we will have a really good OLine with Cironi, Nitchman, Ray, Deihl, Foreman, and Ruhland.

We COULD have a good OL. Diehl might never be able to play. Ray is probably likely. I'm just not going to say that we'll be fine because none of us have any idea. We're all just hoping.
