Lets wait for 2-3 more years for the recruits to start developing before we start trumpeting the horns.

Shabaj wasn't all that bad, he just decided he was done going to class.

Whatever happened to good ole Agim? I absolutely dominated with him in NCAA 04.

Yeah, it was either '04 or '05 that had him and Aaron Alexander on even though neither of em played that year (Injury and CFL) and MSU was dominant.

Last I heard, he and his gf (or wife.. Smokin btw) moved to Montreal, where he was going to play for the Aluetes (sp). He moved back shortly after because there is a limit to the number of Americans they can have on the roster.
Haven't heard much about em since.

Michigan: Meet Stephen Schilling and Carson Butler. They’re the reason why the cupboard isn’t bare for Rich Rodriguez. Carson Butler is the next Bennie Joppru. And Stephen Schilling is…a right tackle, I can’t do this. The Wolverines are in danger of a 5-7 season. And if you’re a hater? It’s beautiful.

Not a personal attack, but this response is rediculous. Should I post the same thing and say it was signed by all of the players who were ranked and met those expectations? It's not a perfect system, we know that, but it's a pretty good overall indication. Does anyone else feel this post has outlived it's usefulness and that we should move on from this?

There is a reason that top programs only recruit 4-5 star guys and then continue to be top programs.

Might as well move the one from the Brez, it looks as much like Dantonio as it does Magic.

I worked out with him the winter of 06 for a while and he was getting ready for a few NFL work outs and a work out for the CFL. He was still quick as all hell, but after the training was over I lost track. I heard he was playing Areana 2 somewhere.

The wind picked up and he tore his ACL, he was on the road to recovery before it started raining and he got a concussion.

We will be the Michigan All Star Team. In 2000 I think the Flint All Star Team (Flintstones) worked out pretty well, wouldn't you agree?

Would definately be a good start, although football teams have a lot more players so maybe we could expand it to Ohio and a few other states.

You guys are beginning to see the genius in Dantonio's recruiting methods: and so am I. Take care of your back yard as much as possible, then spread your footprint to Ohio and elsewhere. Seems simple, but no other recent Spartan coach had success doing it. They all shrunk from the shadow of SCum and competing against them for recruits. Saban is a great coach and recruiter, but even he admitted it was just too tough to do. Coach D is special, and I just hope we can win 7-8 games this year, because if we do.......look out. (BTW-Izzo has done the same thing, and of course the scandal at SCum with the fraud 5 left an opening that he exploited and hasn't let up since. I would never suggest Coach D could approach Izzo's level of success because football is a different animal.......but I can dream. Consistent 8-10 win seasons with solid bowl games would be part of that.)
