The square is seldom if ever cool ... He is "not with it", that is, he doesn't know "whats happening." But if he manages to figure it out, he moves up a notch to "hip." And if he can bring himself to approve of what's happening, he becomes "groovy." And after that, with much luck and perseverence, he can rise to the rank of "cool."

Bottom line is that Jeremy Crabtree and rivals loved Treadwells film. He said so on spartanmag.

he is an OL not a DL. That should be changed in title.

I swear...I'm going to start giving you infractions the next time you tell me to do something.
And he plays both...so there's no need to change it. Last year was his first year playing o-line. Hence why he was listed in the db as a DT.

According to some guy at Sports Inferno (SCUM FAN)
Quote:
You're a ****ing idiot.
Rivals 250 doesn't exactly show how great a guy is going to be.. its a lot of times not even close.
Just becuase he's 250 now, doesn't mean he will be at the end. The kid didn't go to any camps, play any games, and all he did was receive and accept a scholarship -- and now he's underrated and a great pick-up.
That's bull****. The fact he is even ranked means little to me. Just like that Michigan's guys aren't ranked yet, doesn't bother me at all.
All I care about is the final rankings -- thats it.
I didn't get owned at all.. he's not a four-star caliber prospect.. and if you think otherwise, you are an idiot. All he did was say "Okay pops, I'll come and play for you."

Kid has no offers except Michigan State, hasn't done any camps that have data listed, I call that a joke.
Face it, papa got son a football scholarship.

this guy is a *******.

Hondo has an interview up with Blake Treadwell.
Not a bad interview except that Hondo used the phrase "Talk about..." 97 times.

Hondo does that in EVERY interview. Classic Hondo staple.

So, is he projected to play D at MSU - Hondo says everyone expects him to play Def for Coach Narduzzi.

i doubt it. He will play on the o-line. Look at our depth at the interior defensive line spots, we have 4 guys that are sophs. or younger in there. We lose a lot of our offensive line in the next year or two. We need a center and that is where i think he will play.

He played both sides in HS. He is expected to play DL.
The key is flexibility and options based on our other recruits.

Ranked the number 2 OL when it comes to Agility, and he's going to play DT.....why?....why not run Klatt, Treadwell, Reynolds, Barrent, and Ruhland out there at people?

because he is a better defensive player than he is an offensive player.

If that's true than great....but why is he still listed and his OT highlight film is far more known? I mean I'd love to move him over, I think we have enough OL with the freshmen we already have...I'm just curious.

Because rivals isn't very quick about that stuff if they ever get to it at all. McDonald, from last year's class is still listed as a OL when he's going to star on the DL. Hell, if you go back to the 2002 class they still have David Herron listed as a running back even though he ended up as a linebacker!

We all know Coach Dantonio's reputation for evaluating and developing defensive talent. Coach D says that Blake will start his career @ MSU as an Under Tackle on defense because of his quickness, agility, and explosion off the snap. If Coach D sees him as a DT, then I'm a believer !
