It is a BCS school offer. Imagine getting an offer for free college based on how you play football. It is exciting. Good for him to not name a favorite that hasn't offered him yet. Now he can relax and focus on some great camps and getting even better offers.

I am not ripping him, don't get me wrong. I am just confused how you can list a school high when according to you, you know nothing about the school. Good for him, I wish I could have had the same offers.

Maybe he heard that they have a soft serve ice cream in the cafeteria.

Coach you like, team you like. Maybe even some players he likes. People love Harvard and half the time don't know what state it's in.

This school seems to produce quality D1 athletes in pairs.
Anyone remember Malik Hairston and Tajuan Porter?
Here's hoping Norman and Dixon are just as good of a teammate duo.

The soft serve ice cream thing is about a recruit that committed to clemson, or nc state, or somewhere in the SE, because, well as he said it "they had better soft serve ice cream". In the recruit geekdom world (which I am a proud member) soft serve ice cream servers are now joked about.

With the scholarships becoming limited the coaching staff must have really liked what they saw. Nice pick up

6'3 and runs a 4.4/40. Also friends with Norman. Agree with the above poster that the coaching staff must have felt Dixon was just as impressive as a couple of the other more highly touted DB's that are very interested in coming to MSU.
Welcome to Michigan State!

just seems like a great kid, another good student. His life long dream was to be a spartan.
He went out and he earned it.

Fella's a beanpole. I'm sure the staff will bulk him up when he gets here. Nice addition to the class.
