New Rivals Subscriber question

This may not be a Duff question, but it's about recruiting. You guys talk about Orange, and all of that.....is this something I can find on Rivals? Where do you get this info?

Those are actually ratings that the SpartanMag staff came up with in order to convey to their subscribers whether or not a commit was forthcoming. When they have news regarding a possible commit, they'll give you a status:

Yellow - Hearsay. Maybe word from one unofficial source
Orange - News from one source. No follow up withe kid or his family yet
Red - Confirmed. Usually direct from the horses mouth or 2 or 3 sources.

when theres breaking info, one of the spartanmag guys will just post a thread in the Underground Bunker (forum on spartanmag.com) that says 'Red' or 'Orange' or 'Yellow'

red means there is a commit that is confirmed by the athlete
orange means i think orange means a coach has confirmed
yellow means i think there is no 1st hand confirmation but they are wokring on getting some

The writers over there have a color coding system that involves starting a new thread with no message in the body and only a single word in the subject line that happens to be a color.

Yellow = rumor of a commit from a less than reliable source
Orange = rumor of a commit from a reliable source & staff working to verify with prospect
Red = commit confirmed
Magenta = prospect committed to another school visiting EL
Periwinkle = I'm still not sure what this is, but they used it once without saying what it was for
