Not really right now, but I'm glad that they are still looking at us.

Dan Enos needs to get ahold of Bill Johnson and Bobby Wilson, and have them tell this kid (and his teammate) that Big Dudes from the Windy City can make it happen at Michigan State.

Is the buzz around these Illinois commits possibly switching to MSU over? Havent heard anything in 2 months so I assume it is.

I know Buckner camped at MSU and liked it a lot. He allegedly told Roushar (sp?) that was a very soft Illinois commit, hopefully he ends up taking a official here.

Update on Scout. Title says he is a "soft verbal". I don't have a subscription. Anyone care to give an idea?

He has to want to come to MSU. He loved it here, but Hill committed to Illinois and they were supposed to be a package deal. He must be rethinking his options, and slowly backing away from Illinois. That does not mean that he will leave Illinois, but the possibility is a little more than I can handle.

I am not so sure people know that, but it is true. Arthur Ray Jr may be the kicker here. I know Buckner is friends with him, but I am not so sure that Hill is friends with him.
Also the fact that we are giving Ray so much support is not just helping with Buckner, but it is also helping other recruits and showing that we are going to treat you like family no matter what happens.

LOL! You guys are still hanging on to this ridiculous notion that you have a chance at Hill and Buckner?

Why would Buckner name a top three if he is so solid to Illinois? Its not like people are making this stuff up...

Are you laughing because both Hill and Buckner keep mentioning Michigan State as being in their "Top 3" despite being committed to Illinois? They are both looking for something better, otherwise they wouldn't keep telling everyone who will listen that they are only"soft" commits to Illinois and don't want people to stop recruiting them.

From the way it looks, I am not sure if they will end up at MSU, but I doubt they end up at Illinois. They seem very interested in other schools.

And on top of that what does Illinois have to offer them that's better than Michigan State besides home state. MSU has better Facilities,Tradition, campus life so I guess as long as playing four to five hours from home is not a big deal then I like our chances.

Of course the Buckner article on GSN is brand new, but I looked back through the articles listed in Hill's profile on both Scout & Rivals and it doesn't look like there's been any updates from him since early May. Is it certain that he's still looking too, or is it just assumed as he and Buckner seem like a package deal?
