Question about recruiting rules...

I know a coach can't talk to the media about a specific player until he has a signed LOI from the recruit, but can he talk to other recruits about players he is recruiting or players that have verbally committed?

For example, can MD tell recruits that Baker/Caper/Norman have all verbally committed and therefore they should come to MSU also? Or can he just say go to Rivals/Scouts and see who has committed?

I am just wondering much he can use this to his advantage.

the coaching staff is allowed to talk about players by name in private. its not like they have to call them 'Oak Park RB#25'

they just cannot talk about them in public, ie, to the media
