23 offers so far*. Plays football and basketball...although no offers for basketball. Wants to make decision by the end of summer. Hearing from OSU a lot.

* IU, Cincy, Kentucky, Louisville, BC, Ole Miss, UCLA, MSU, Arkansas among others.

Or Dantonio can recruit, get this, multiple people at the same time. So, if one person doesn't come, he won't be screwed. You recruit people even at positions already filled, not as hard, but coaches are still in contact with RB's, QB's and everything else. People can become 'athletes', or injuries may happen, or defections, or anything.

Sims is far from a lock, so to see MD looking at other TE's should be of no surprise to anyone.

Maybe Dantonio realized things don't look good with Fragel since OSU is now involved and that is why he offered this kid.

or maybe Coach D doesn't want to put all his eggs in one basket. Only going after one or two guys is stupid because then if you don't get them you're left taking plan d,e,f guys

Exactly. You can not count on getting all the ones you want. You have to keep in contact with any possible alternate just in case. If a recruit is not a lock and Coach has to convince, then having alternates is a must.

Rivals - "Spartans check in on Warren Central's Hazelett" - $

No MSU offer yet, but we are in constant contact. Is very interested in MSU, likes that we use TEs alot and commented on Davis going in NFL draft as MSU TE. Plans to camp at MSU.
