I guess he was serious. We didn't have anything to worry about. He ended up at MSU.

everyone should watch videos of Nichol's senior year at Lowell. He really was something in HS.
Keith Nichol - Football Recruiting
for those that don't go on recruiting websites too much, the links to the videos are to the right of his picture

Sure looks like his offensive line in high school sucked. Many of the highlights are him throwing on the run while scrambling for his life.

True, but he also played in a spread offense. A lot of plays were designed for him to decide to throw on the run or to tuck it in and run it down the field himself.
Either way, he shows great accuracy, even while throwing on the run.

I believe thats a BS rumor (assume you're talking about Bradford and Jones being arrested for possession with intent to distribute?).

It doesn't matter if every single one of OU's qbs were kicked off the team and they offered Nichol the starting job on a silver plater. He's here to stay and very happy with his decision.

Yeah, right, he'd never turn his back on MSU!

FWIW: I was in Oklahoma City on business during last football season. I was listening to the local sports radio station as they discussed OU and the QB play after Stafford got hurt. Nichols name never even entered the discussion until one guy briefly quipped, "Nichol will never be the starter at OU."
This is why he transferred. He didn't "miss home".

Attention, attention....the sky is blue!
In all seriousness, we all know that is why he looked to transfer. However, when you listen to his interviews, he's very happy and comfortable with his decision.

I think the point T-Dub was making is that lets not and try to turn this thing into some sort of prodigal son returning to where his heart has always been. He`s a talent and I think the team is better off with him, but the kid was and is, all about himself. Regardless of how many warm-fuzzies he provides you.
