Recruiting Question.
Pete White, a 4 Star OL goes to my former high school.
Peter White Profile - Football Recruiting
St. John's College H.S. is a very close knit family and I could certainly talk to him about considering MSU. I know MSU is seeking OL and I have a possible connection to this kid, am I allowed to speak with him about MSU? I don't know anyone on the coaching staff at MSU but can I encourage him to contact MSU if he's interested? Just checking.

If you have a previous relationship with a prospect, then yes, you can talk to him about MSU all you want. And for the record, "previous relationship" is interpreted very liberally.

I wouldn't take it anyway. I love MSU and I love my high school, so I wouldn't do anything to tarnish the names of either.
