Good name for an Olineman. I can just hear Mushburger right now "Look at big ole Adam Schneid down there in the trenches, nobody gets off the Schneid."

well hopefully he can perform well enough at msu camp....he holds I think 5 or 6 offers now from MAC type schools. Read on michiganstate board where Matt Dorsey is comparing him to Ethan Ruthland and that Schneid impressed rivals anyalysts at the elite training camp in Cleveland. MSU seems like they would be a no doubt leader if they offered

Schneid has been flying under the radar a bit, but is definitely on the Spartan's short list. Schneid is an extremely athletic lineman that checks in at 6-foot-5, 255-pounds. He has been picking up offers at an impressive clip since his strong performance at the Elite Combine in Cleveland last month.

We spoke with Schneid about Michigan State University and his camp experience.

"I had a great time. I really like Michigan State," he said. "I would put them at the top of my list. I think I had a really good day. The coaches said they liked what they saw and will be getting back with me. They like me as a guard or center prospect, they think I have the frame to get up around 300-pounds. I figure I will know a lot more after the 20th of June."

Schneid went on to explain to SpartanMag.com that he understands that Michigan State is tight on scholarships, but is hoping that his strong performance has him on the short list of prospects that could get an offer.

Schneid reminds some who have seen him of class of 2008 signee John Deyo of Gull Lake High School. Deyo burst on the scene before his senior year as well. The Michigan State staff liked the 6-foot-6, 260-pound Deyo due to him being extremely athletic. He garnered a Spartan offer after a strong showing at camp.

Central has a history of developing OL talent. Not a bad move for him, and we have 3-5 guys ahead of him on the wish list, so I wish him well, and look forward to seeing him develop, as I make it up to a Chip game or two a year.
