He visited several months ago, but I haven't seen any discussion here. Anyone know why we backed off? He certainly passes the offer list test: Cincinnati, Stanford, Louisville, Purdue, Florida State, Wake Forest, North Carolina State, Ohio, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Air Force, Miami (OH), Bowling Green, Nebraska, Maryland, Kent State, Boston College, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Iowa, Syracuse, and Ball State. OSU lock if the offer, but it doesn't look like they will.

Both sites list offers from MSU. A direct quote is in this article:

This guy's got real good numbers: 4.7 40, 28 vertical, 395 bench. Is he tough or is he "All-Airport"?

By Dave Berk...Longo made an apperance at Ohio State today for camp. The staff told him they are waiting until after the Senior Advanced Camp is finished to let him know what they plan on doing.
Put up an impressive 22 reps at 225.
|
22 @ 225lbs??? We need to get all over this kid.

I think best case scenario for us is that Longo picks up an offer from the Bucks and commits, leaving Klatt for us.
It is thought that one of Klatt and Longo get an offer. I think if it is Klatt that gets the offer, I don't feel good with our chances on Longo.

Several on BP feel that Chris Watt's status (and any indications he provides this weekend) will determine whether Longo or Klatt gets an offer. This really surprised me, but given their serious haul of OL last year, maybe (hopefully) it's true.

Believe it or not, this physique has 285lbs on it.
We need to get him in for a visit some way, some how.

more importantly he projects as a legit tackle, not a guard/center which it seems all the other prospect we are in on project to.
Of the 4-5 OL we take at least one of them must be a true Offensive Tackle

The square is seldom if ever cool ... He is "not with it", that is, he doesn't know "whats happening." But if he manages to figure it out, he moves up a notch to "hip." And if he can bring himself to approve of what's happening, he becomes "groovy." And after that, with much luck and perseverence, he can rise to the rank of "cool."
