I'm wondering if we go after Robert Bolden as well. I heard Bolden was pretty impressive in camp so Gardner must have been really impressive to get an offer before Bolden. I've never seen Gardner play so I can't say for sure, but they seem like similar players to me. Probably can't go wrong either way.

Love the British measurements, but how quickly can he run a furlong?

Is he the supposed OSU lock or is that Bolden?

He is an OSU lean and probably will wind up going there. There QB situation sets up perfectly for him and early on he was quoted as the Buckeyes were his favorite team growing up.

With that said, his newest article quotes him saying Michigan State is his favorite with the offer made. I know we can take that with a grain of salt, but it is time to battle OSU, especially for kids in Michigan. Not hope they don't have schollies remaining.

That would be Gardner, but with OSU's sudden interest in Morgan Newton, you have to think that Newton going to OSU would hurt their chances with Gardner quite a bit.

Well we always battle OSU for kids in Michigan. But we will seldom battle OSU for kids in Ohio, and we weill never battle OSU for kids who grew up big OSU fans.

Not going to be an easy task for anyone considering what they are doing with their program right now.

Yeah especially if they wind up not taking a QB this year.

Pryor will be a Junior when Gardner is a freshman and could take the reins over as early as his Sophmore year.

Is OSU going to take 9 QB's next year like they die DB's this year?

I'm interested to see if MSU will land this kid or Bolden in '10. I hope they land one of these studs.

I was totally going to cite the Vince Young reference as well...and not because he's black. But because he's athletic as H3LL and throws slightly side arm.

Offered by Michigan last night according to Allen Trieu.

IMO based on type of offense and quarterback depth Michigan has a better shot at him than MSU. If he's not going to MSU I hope he goes out of state and we don't have to face him.

M already has two QBs in this class and Tate Forcier could end up there too. Gardner won't be going to Michigan with three QBs in the class ahead of him. That said, he's OSU's top priority, and tSweatervest doesn't miss on many that he really targets. Very good chance Gardner ends up in Columbus. But we'll have Maxwell redshirting and don't really need a QB in this class.

Robert Bolden would not be a bad get for MSU if they miss out on Gardner. Both will be really good QBs.
