That took 4 days.

Hammock must have known about Barnett's discussion and he is still coming up with his entire family for a visit. Certainly not a done deal to follow Barnett to IU.

I don't like that Barnett picked IU because hes from Indiana and thinks he will be treated better than he would at msu I dont see our staff playing favorites to anyone from anywhere.

Well, there's deciding to play in your home state, then there's deciding to play for Indiana.
Enjoy those 4 wins over I-AA teams.

I'd be willing to bet you're right, I never remember one mentioning the other in any of their updates.
it was always hammock and his family coming to visit this weekend with never any mention of barnett.

WTF!? Seriously! Indiana? Are you kidding me? The one thing I haven't been happy with is the play of Spartan corners and the lack of potential high profile corners coming in. Why can't we land some?!

Did you read why he chose IU? Playing time...meaning, he does not feel that he is going to see the field for some time at MSU....meaning, he is a solid player, but not a game changing corner most likely....also meaning that our CB depth is quite something at this point.
Plus, I would say Pat White, and Johnny Adams are definitely more of a game changing, high caliber corner that Barnett. Plus, you may have Dixon getting a look there, and having a 6'3 CB who runs a 4.4 is very intriguing. I think you need to just sit back, and let MD do his thing. We are going to have solid secondary play in the coming years, mark my words.

When Barnett is a freshman MSU will have:
Sr. Kendall Davis (I assume he will earn his 5th yr)
Sr. Ashton Henderson
Sr. Ross Weaver
Sr. Jeremy Ware
Jr. Chris Rucker
Jr. Enrique Shaw
So. Johnny Adams
rFr. Trenton Robinson
Fr. Pat White
Fr. Dana Dixon
That people are getting this upset over Barnett is
